About the Band "AB'S"
In 1982，when Fujimaru Yoshino's first solo album "Yoshino Fujimal" was recorded, Fujimaru and the performers got along famously and decided to play together as a band. The original members are: Fujimaru YOSHINO, Makoto MATSUTHIA, Yoshihiko ANDO, Naoki WATANABE, and Atsuo OKAMOTO. The blood group of Fujimaru, Makoto and Naoki is AB (Ando and Okamoto's blood type is A), so they named their band "AB'S". They also thought AB'S would be the top of a list of all band names.
AB'S released 3 albums from 1983 to 1985, changed the members and released the fourth album in 1988, then stopped their band activities.
In 2003，AB'S re-started their music activities.
In 2005, Yoshihiko Ando left and Hidetoshi Yamada joined the band, released one maxi single and one original album "New".
In 2007, they released a new album "Blue".
Now Hidetoshi Yamada is leaving the band, and they are looking for a new keyboard player. Meanwhile, each member keeps playing for lots of artists respectively, as one of the most reliable players in Japan.
